In the year 2011/12, the Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui Welfare Council successfully nominated 43 partners in the business and public sectors (details as below) for the Caring Company Logo or the Caring Organization Logo awarded by the Hong Kong Council of Social Service. Representatives from these corporations attended the Recognition Ceremony held on 3 May 2012 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre and visited the Council's booth in the Social Partnership Exhibition.
The Welfare Council would like to take the opportunity to extend its gratitude to all the corporations below for their important contributions to the community service and demonstration of corporate social responsibility. These are indeed the social capitals that add value to the quality and solidarity of our society.
For many years the Council has directed a lot of efforts towards the active promotion of social responsibility among business and public service corporations in Hong Kong, and in facilitating these corporations’ services to the community. Over the years, the Council has established strategic partnership and closed collaboration with the business and public sectors in collaborative projects to help the disadvantaged. Partnership projects include corporate volunteer programmes, donations in cash or in kind, job matching and referral, career expo, and programmes using the Council's professional training services.
