The Council has been dedicating efforts in developing its training service. With good utilization of the professional talent and capacities of the staff force, the Council provides service for individuals, organizations or government departments in both Hong Kong and Macau.
LEAD Professional Training Centre
To fully utilize various working experience and expertise of the social service units, the Council established LEAD Professional Training Centre to provide professional consultancy service and diversified training programmes for the educational institutes, social service organizations, government departments and commercial enterprises.
It is believed that all practitioners from different professions, require continuous learning and development to keep their competence abreast of the times. Every success is gradually built up through the process of experiences, observations, understanding and ongoing applications. LEAD Professional Training provides not only skills transfer, but also experiences that cultivate inner quality.
The centre provides the following professional training services.
- International accredited certificate programmes
Our wholistic team is accredited with different trainer qualifications and delegated to provide the qualified certificate programme including Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM), Personality Dimension®, Brain Gym® and Optimal Brain Organization. The participants could be awarded the relevant practice licenses for professional intervention. - Professional growth programmes
Our trainers provide various up-to-date professional training programmes in order to facilitate the practitioners maximizing the intervention effectiveness. For example, the application of Satir Model and integrating music therapy for the elderly with cognitive impairment, etc. - Individual growth programmes
The Centre has been adopting different training means and topics for the professional practitioners, cultivating their personal growth and inner quality. These include Servant Leadership, Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction, MBTI® personality assessement, Personality Dimension® and Expressive Arts Therapy. - Tailor-made programmes
The Centre also provide tailor-made training programmes specifically designed to meed the needs of your organization.
Training and Consultancy in Macau
Having continuous collaboration with various organizations and government departments in Macau, the Council provides training and consultancy services for the Education and Youth Affairs Bureau, Social Welfare Bureau, as well as its Macau Social Service Coordination Office. The trainings cover Critical Incident Stress Management, Counselling and Supervision, Casework Skill Enhancement, Consultancy for School Service Co-ordinators, MBTI® personality assessement, Personality Dimension® as well as individual and team growth courses. It lays a good platform for exchange among professionals in Hong Kong and Macau.
