Colton had always been passionate about volleyball. A sudden stroke dramatically altered the course of his life at thirteen. Colton faced the heartbreaking sight of his immobile left arm and leg, feeling lost and frightened as his emotions fluctuated. With unwavering will and support from the S.K.H. Stroke Rehabilitation Charity Fund, he began professional rehabilitation at the Sheng Kong Hui Cyril and Amy Cheung Aged Care Complex. Making the most of the critical “golden rehabilitation period” after his stroke, he is working hard to regain his physical abilities. Determined to return to the court, he made the trip from Yuen Long to Sha Tin 5 days a week for training. “My fate is in my hands, not the heavens,” he said, as he resolved to fright against fate.
