Medical & Wellness Services
影片簡介

Mr. Or lost his job few months ago because of stroke that caused limb weakness and speech impairment, fortunately with the help of H.K.S.K.H. Cyril and Amy Cheung Aged Care Complex (#CAC) and its introduction of the rehabilitation equipment “Lokomat”, he now has a speedy recovery and is able to communicate and take care of himself. "I am confident that I can work as a chef again after healing!" Said Mr. Or who worked as a Western chef before his stroke.

Let's watch the following interview to know more about his road to recovery!

CAC who provides stroke rehabilitation, is one of a few residential care services for the elderly in Hong Kong that have introduced Lokomat. The equipment can simulate the walking posture of the human body, allowing stroke patients to establish a connection with the brain through repetitive movements, and even without the assistance of machines, leading them to walk autonomously.
