Charity Raffle 2016

Fundraising Events

Between 12th March and 5th May, 2016, the Welfare Council conducted its Charity Raffle 2016. The Sheng Kung Hui province, churches, schools, social service units and supporting organisations once again showed enthusiastic support, paving the way for the smooth execution of the event. To raise public awareness towards the Welfare Council and its charity raffle, for the first time, it set up 12 booths at MTR stations and malls to sell raffle tickets and achieved an ideal response. The Charity Raffle 2016 raised some HK$4 million, which would go to the Welfare Council’s social support services, including Project "Act of Love", counselling services, the S.K.H. Stroke Rehabilitation Charity Fund, as well as other innovative services and community education schemes.
