Kowloon City in Transformation: The Kowloon City Themed Walking Trail was supported by the Urban Renewal Fund; the design, installation and operation of the walking trail was the first hybrid project of the Welfare Council that combined history, culture, conservation, community engagement and both hard and soft facilities management services.

The Welfare Council participated for the first time in the operation of the "Good Homes: Community Housing Movement" to help alleviate the housing needs of the grassroots through transitional housing units and promote a culture of neighbourliness and mutual help. (Project period: 2018 to 2021)

The S.K.H. Macau Social Services Coordination Office was awarded Medal for Community Service by the Macao Special Administrative Region Government to recognise its active contribution to social welfare.
