On 12th December, the Diocesan Synod approved establishing S.K.H. Diocesan Welfare Council (i.e. today's H.K.S.K.H. Welfare Council). It coordinated the provision of welfare services within the Diocese and oversaw communications between external parties and the Sheng Kung Hui.
